<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance quality by preventing the appearance deformation in a case that a compressor is arranged in a top plate to maximize the internal capacity and depth of a drawer storage chamber of the lower stage. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a heat-insulated box 1 composed of an inner box 22, an outer box 23 and a foamed and filled heat insulating body 24; a recessed part 10 provided at the rear portion of the top plate provided on the heat-insulated box 1, and the compressor 16 arranged in the recessed part 10, lateral wall surfaces 41 of the recessed part 10 being formed of the foamed and filled heat insulating body 24, including a vacuum heat insulating material 25 buried therein. According to this, since the structure consisting of the outer box 23 and the inner box 22 is reinforced by the vacuum heat insulating material, deformation such as warping or shrinkage in the lateral wall surfaces 41 of the recessed part 10 can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
