METHOD OF DESTRUCTION OF AIRBORNE TARGET FROM BOMBER-AIRCRAFT

FIELD: aviation. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in acting on attacking airborne target by impact explosive charge carried on board of bomber-aircraft flying at low altitude. At approach of attacking airborne target to aft hemisphere of bomber-aircraft, descent is performed to permissible low altitude. Time of hop to bomber-aircraft to distance of destruction action of explosive charge and interval of time from moment of dropping the charge till the moment of explosion are continuously calculated for present magnitude of altitude and flying speed. As soon as magnitude of present hop time gets equal to interval of time before explosion, charge is dropped from bomber-aircraft. Aerial general-purpose bomb may be used as explosive charge. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of destruction of airborne target. ^ 7 cl, 1 dwg
