FIELD: mining, particularly to control rock pressure during underground flat-laying mineral seam development. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves erecting rubble pile rows in parallel to stope line, wherein rubble pile rows are spaced apart a distance less than roof rock caving pitch; laying pneumatic cylinders of rubble pile gob; filling the pneumatic cylinders with compressed air so that the pneumatic cylinders are expanded between roof rock and gob; unloading pneumatic cylinders after roof rock lowering on timber structure of rubble piles and removing pneumatic cylinders. Rubble pile widths exceed that of pneumatic cylinders. Rubble pile gob height is determined from h=mf-(hc+Delta), m, where mf is formation thickness, hc is collapsed pneumatic cylinder height and Delta is collapsed pneumatic cylinder height tolerance. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of roof control in stope goaf. ^ 3 dwg |
