FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing of rotary-type blowers. Proposed rotary-vane machine contains stator accommodating rotor with through radial slot passing through center of rotation of rotor and vane installed in rotor in rotor slot in contact through with inner surface of stator. Inner surface of stator in section square to axis of rotation of rotor profiled to curve with one axis of symmetry consists of arcs of circumference with radial conjugated by transient sinusoidal curves. ^ EFFECT: minimization of harmful volume owing to profiling of working surface of stator to curve with rational combination of arcs of circumferences and sinusoidal transient curves. ^ 4 dwg
