<p>PURPOSE: A plastic tube structure for a fuel system is provided to save cost, to reduce weight, and to prevent corrosion by manufacturing a tube with plastic. CONSTITUTION: A tube(10) for a fuel system is manufactured by forming an inner layer(11) by using PBT(PolyButylene Terephthalate), an intermediate layer(12) and an outer layer(13) by using PA12 and applying an adhesive(14) between the intermediate layer and the outer layer. The respective layers are formed by integral injection. The inner layer is formed in 0.1mm of thickness, and conductivity is applied to the surface for preventing the explosion of fuel. The intermediate layer is formed in 0.2mm of thickness to prevent leakage of fuel by surrounding the inner layer. The outer layer is formed in 0.6mm of thickness, and PA12 is excellent in chemical resistance and intensity. The tube reduces permissible dose of fuel. According to the use of plastic instead of steel, cost and weight are reduced. Moreover, troubles due to corrosion are removed.</p> |
