An electromagnetic roll separator contains a rotary roll with annular protrusions, a pole terminal of electromagnetic system with cylindrical convexity on the top along the roll, located with a clearance relative to the roll, a feeder, and receivers of fission products. The cylindrical convexity of pole terminal is maximally approached to the roll within the interval of 15-40 DEGREE higher than horizontal plane that passes through the rotational axis of the roll. The surface with a clearance is made from the line of maximum approaching of cylindrical convexity to the on the pole terminal, saidclearance increases downward relative to the roll.
