Environment conditions for the biological material are produceable and maintainable in the incubation chamber. The incubation chambers are attached or formed at and/or in removable components arranged in the housing. First part of the housing is coverable by the second part of the housing formed as cover (6). The incubator for biological material, comprises housing, two incubation chambers arranged in the housing for receiving the biological material, an opening (21) arranged at a second part of the housing, and an aeration unit (7) for the incubator chambers. Environment conditions for the biological material are produceable and maintainable in the incubation chamber. The incubation chambers are attached or formed at and/or in removable components arranged in the housing. First part of the housing is coverable by the second part of the housing formed as cover (6). The opening is communicated with the incubation chamber for inserting manipulation instruments. The aeration unit is solvably fastenable at the exterior of the housing. The incubation chambers are formed as cups standing against to a side of a plate. The ends of the cups exhibit glass panel. The first and the second part of the housing are arranged in such a manner that the plate with the cups is insertable into the first part of the housing and is coverable by the second part of the housing. In the wall of the housing, a channel is arranged, in which water for the control of the temperature in the incubation chamber, is supplyable. A liquid inflow and an outflow (8, 9) communicating with the channel, are arranged at the exterior of the housing. Both the parts of the housing are flow throughable by the water. The plate exhibits a passage opening with a dimension corresponding to the light width of the cup. The channel is connectable or connected in the first- and second parts of the housing. A chamber for receiving the water for the humidification of the gas supplied to the incubation chambers, is arranged in the aeration unit. The aeration unit exhibits an additional opening communicating with the incubations chamber for the supply of the moistened gas. Windowpane (13) for the observation or examination of biological materials, is arranged in the cover. A splasher is arranged before the additional opening. Germ barriers in the form of gas barrier, are arranged at the additional opening. The first part of the housing for receiving the component in free of play manner, is attached or mounted at and/or in the incubations chambers.</p>
