A device for aftercutting of tops consists of a frame whereon a comb feeler and a knife are mounted by means of a semirevolving suspension. On the frame two axles which interact with longitudinal grooves of the knife, made in parallel to cutting edge thereof, are arranged immovably. On one of the axles an L-shaped spring is mounted, the longer side of this one is arranged at angle to the cutting edge, and the bent end of a lesser one is mounted into a groove of the knife, made in perpendicular to cutting edge thereof.
