<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte fuel battery excellent in replacement workability of a single cell, easy to take out a single cell from a laminated body, in case a trouble occurs in a polymer electrolyte film or a separator of one of the single cells in the laminated body of the fuel battery necessitating a replacement. <P>SOLUTION: For a single cell as a constituent of the polymer electrolyte fuel battery, a cross section of at least one of the pair of separators in a lamination direction is structured in a wedge shape thinning from one end to the other in a direction nearly vertical to the lamination direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
