PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion alert system, facilitating laying of piezoelectric sensors along a fence or wall or handling thereof without any troubles in appearance or security, and having no fear of reduction in sensitivity or malfunction depending on weather. SOLUTION: The intrusion alert system adapted to detect intrusion of an intruder by detecting application of external force by the intruder to a piezoelectric sensor attached to a boundary of a monitoring section from an output voltage of the piezoelectric sensor comprises piezoelectric cables 10<SB>1</SB>-10<SB>4</SB>laid as piezoelectric sensors over a plurality of sections; a plurality of cascaded detection units 20<SB>1</SB>-20<SB>4</SB>capable of outputting intrusion detection signal based on output voltage after amplification of each piezoelectric cable; and a determination unit 30 performing polling communications with the detection units, and specifying and reporting a detection unit which outputs the intrusion detection signal to an intrusion monitoring device.
