PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle grip part of a fishing reel so as to be able to mount a second grip to a first grip in an inexpensive constitution as capable of mounting and demounting. SOLUTION: This handle grip part 9 of the fishing reel has a tubular part 90 attached at the outer circumferential side of a grip shaft 18, and an almost spherical grip part 91 formed as one unit with the tubular part 90. The grip part 91 has the first grip 92 of which outer circumferential surface is formed as an almost hemispherical shape, arranged at the handle arm 8 side, the second grip 93 of which outer circumferential surface is formed as an almost hemispherical shape, arranged at the reverse side of the handle arm 8, and a disc-formed mounting member 94 in which the second grip 93 is fixed at the tubular part 90 by two screwing members 95 inserted from the outer circumferential part of the second grip 93, attached/fixed at the outer circumference of the tip end part of the tubular part 90.
