PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which can carry out a coating of a good coating-film state in a robot coating using a coating roller. SOLUTION: The coating roller 30 installed in a robot 20 is moved while being rotated on a surface 41 to be coated according to a coating condition to form a coating film. A state of the coating film coated is inspected, the coating condition is corrected according to its inspection result, and a film forming after inspection is carried out according to the corrected coating condition. Therefore, a coating step can be advanced while an unsuitable state of the coating film is immediately improved, and the coating of the good coating-film state can be carried out.
