<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit for an optical pickup which is simple, compact, and excellent in adjustability and optical characteristics, and also provide an optical pickup using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the holder 11 of an optical unit 10 for an optical pickup having at least an objective lens 1 for converging luminous flux, aberration-correcting elements 2 and 3 for correcting aberration, and the holder 11 for fixing the relative positions of the objective lens 1 and aberration-correcting elements 2 and 3, second hole parts 12a-12d and 13a-13d are formed, which pass through a first hole part 21 for transmitting the luminous flux from a direction vertical to an optical axis 20 to adjust the positions of the aberration-correcting elements 2 and 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
