ABSORPTION LIQUID COMPOSITION FOR REMOVAL OF VOLATILE ORGANIC SOLVENT AND PROCESS FOR REMOVAL OF VOLATILE ORGANIC SOLVENT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing method for removing VOC in an absorption liquid or a treatment gas in order to absorb and recover VOC in a large amount of air flow of the treatment liquid in the industry for treating the large amount of a volatile organic solvent (VOC).

SOLUTION: The absorption liquid composition of the volatile organic solvent in the treatment liquid is comprised of (a) water and (b) (i) 0.01-5 wt% of at least one of surfactants selected from the group consisting of a non-ionic surfactant and an ionic surfactant and (ii) 0.0001-5 wt% of a frothing adjusting agent. The removing method of VOC in the treatment liquid is characterized by bringing the VOC containing treatment liquid into contact with the absorption liquid composition.
