PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of preventing settings of a prescribed function of a mobile phone from being left unchanged. SOLUTION: When a sensor 108 senses start of charging of a secondary battery 109, a CPU 103 carries out a display of urging a setting change of an operating mode as regards the prescribed function stored in a memory 102 on a display section 107 at start of the charging. When an instruction for setting the operating mode is input from an operation section 107, the CPU 103 carries out the change processing of the operating mode as regards the function. When no instruction is input within a prescribed time, the display of urging the setting change on the display section 107 is terminated and the charging of the secondary battery 109 is continued.
