PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output driver of a semiconductor device capable of removing the inter-symbol interference noise in a weak data transmission cycle upon an asymmetrical data pattern transmission. SOLUTION: The output driver of the semiconductor device is characterized by including: a main driver for driving an output terminal with output data; and a supporting driver for controlling the inter-symbol interference noise in order to auxiliarily drive the output terminal in response to the transmission pattern of the output data. The technology disclosed herein secures a sufficient output data level through increase in a slew rate in a weak data transmission cycle following after by tracing the pattern of the transmission data so as to ensure a driving force applied to the output terminal associated with weak data in advance in a strong data transmission cycle. This technology adopts a system of stepwise adjusting the driving force of the supporting driver by tracing the transmission data pattern through the use of a counter and decoding the count.
