NORMAL PRESSURE CATION DYEABLE POLYESTER, TEXTILE PRODUCT MADE FROM THE SAME, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE SAME

A normal pressure cation dyeable polyester containing an isophthalate moiety having a metal sulfonate group at a specified ratio relative to the total amount of the acidic moieties present in the polyester and containing a polyalkylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 150 to 600 at a specified ratio relative to the total amount of the polyester, the concentrations of diethylene glycol and a terminal carboxyl group relative to the glycol moiety being defined within a specific range. This polyester exhibits good light resistance both when deep-colored and when pale-colored while maintaining stable quality for use in textile products.
