<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating panel for an elevator, in which operation is easy even when the number of car call buttons is increased as car stop floors are increased. <P>SOLUTION: This operating panel for an elevator 1 is for registering a destination floor by the car call button 20 provided corresponding to each floor where a car stops. On columnar surfaces 6a and 6b of a columnar turning member 5 shaft-supported by a rotary shaft 11 to rotate, the car call buttons 20 are provided in a plurality of lines in the parallel direction to the rotary shaft 11. Part of the car call button lines 21 and 22 are exposed from an opening 4 formed as a cut in a face plate 3 shielding the rotary member 5.
