Rail-type guide for displaceable elements such as bench seats in mobile homes and caravans, having at least two guide rails of approximately U-shaped cross-section, which are to be arranged at a certain distance apart and in which guide elements arranged on the displaceable elements and guided by means of rollers are arranged in a manner which allows them to be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. Arranged on the guide elements is at least one lateral guide roller, by means of which the guide elements can be guided from the side in the guide rail. In the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, the lower guide rail has a guide track which curves upwards. Arranged on the guide elements on the forward and rearward side as regards displacement, in each case ahead of the roller and in the immediate vicinity of the guide track of the guide rail for the roller, there is a clearing element which clears dirt out of the way.
