PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource management system which suitably develops highly stable software while facilitating the development of the software. SOLUTION: A host terminal 100 measures the amount of resources that an individual functional module 130 uses on the host terminal 100, converts the measured amount of resources into the amount of resources that a network printer uses, acquires an upper-limit value from the individual functional module 130, and generates log information indicating that the amount of resources that the individual functional module 13 uses reaches the upper-limit based upon the converted amount of resources and the acquired upper-limit value. For each individual functional module 130, the memory capacity that the individual functional module 130 uses and the memory capacity that a common functional module 120 uses for execution of the individual functional module 130, and the number of actuated classes are limited based upon the converted amount of resources and the acquired upper-limit value.
