PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric equipment having a front panel capable of easily opening and closing, and preventing opening when a large object such as a person collides therewith by mistake. SOLUTION: This electric equipment has an equipment body and the openable-closable front panel 2. The front panel 2 includes a projection part 51 and a pressing part 42 formed on the surface side so as to be opposed to an area for forming the projection part 51. The equipment body includes a holding part 53 for engaging with and disengaging from the projection part 51 by moving the projection part 51 in the inserting direction, and a contact part 43 separately arranged from the holding part 53 and formed so as to contact with the front panel 2. A peripheral area for engaging the projection part 51 with the holding part 53, is formed so as to separate the equipment body and the front panel 2, and the front panel 2 is formed so as to curve when the front panel 2 pushes the pressing part 42 in a closed state.
