PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat storage control device, and a seat storage control system capable of electrically store/return a seat after checking the safety of the seat provided in a vehicle such as an automobile and a part around a seat storage part. SOLUTION: A seat storage control device 1 comprises a seatback driving unit 2 to electrically forwardly-collapse/return a seatback, a seat driving unit 3 to store/return a seat in/from the storage part, a seat storage monitoring unit 4 to monitor presence/absence of any obstacle around the seat and around the storage part, and a seat drive control unit 5 to control the seatback driving unit 2 and the seat driving unit 3 based on the determination signal of presence/absence of any obstacle by the seat storage monitoring unit 4. The seat storage monitoring unit 4 comprises an obstacle determination means 6, an image pickup means 7, a brightness determination means 8, a stain determination means 9, a contact/proximity detection means 10, a seat position data saving means 11, and an obstacle data saving means 12.
