PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the production cost of an acupuncture needle unit with a protective film and improve the usability of the protective film. SOLUTION: This acupuncture needle unit 1 is integrally constituted of the needle 2, a needle tube 3 and the protective film 4. The protective film 4 is provided with flexibility and formed with a plurality of slits 43 and 43 axially extending from the lower end 4a along a prescribed length (l). In a state before the practice, the protective film 4 is retained closely stuck on the side of the needle tube 3 and movable on the side of the needle tube 3 by external force in the axial direction.
