<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure printing machine which can promptly restore a printing misregister of each printing unit to a steady state, and a method for controlling the gravure printing machine. <P>SOLUTION: This gravure printing machine is equipped with a first-stage printing unit 10a which initially prints a web W and second-stage printing units 10b, 10c and 10d installed downstream from the first-stage printing unit 10a. In addition, the gravure printing machine has a control device 30 which sends a sought misregister level to a calculator 32c for a motor manipulated variable, based on the level of a misregister calculated by a calculator 31c for a misregister corresponding to one second-stage printing unit 10c and the level of a misregister sent to a calculator 32b for a motor manipulated variable corresponding to the other second-stage printing unit 10b located upstream from the second-stage printing unit 10c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
