PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide disk recording/reproducing device, to reproduce MDs or the like, which can reduce its size especially by using a drive controller for insertion/ejection operation by the insertion/ejection mechanism which inserts or ejects MDs. SOLUTION: This disk recording/reproducing device 100 has an insertion/ejection holder 500 to hold an MD, a clamper 400 incorporating the insertion/ejection holder 500 to transfer the MD by the holder 500, a drive unit 600 to move the clamper 400 up and down to the position of the recording/reproducing section, and a movement controller 900 which amplifies the moving stroke of the insertion/ejection holder 500 provided in the clamper 400 and holding the MD following the clamper 400 moving back and forth.
