The invention relates to a device for retracting the buckle of a motor vehicle seat belt. The inventive device is characterised in that it comprises a mechanical connecting means (7) that connects the buckle (1) to a side part (4) of the seatback frame in order to pull the buckle (1), in the seatback upright position, such that the buckle is maintained in the elevated use position, but can pivot under gravity into the essentially-horizontal retracted position thereof. The invention is suitable for use in the automobile industry. |
