There is provided a process for producing a polymer containing the following unit (D), comprising polymerizing CH<SUB>2</SUB>=CHR and carbon monoxide to thereby obtain a polymer containing the following unit (E) and fluorinating the polymer. (E) (D) In the formulae, R<SUP>F</SUP> is a perfluoro monovalent saturated organic group, and R is the same group as represented by R<SUP>F</SUP> or a polyfluoro monovalent organic group that becomes R<SUP>F</SUP> through fluorination.</p>
