<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workflow searching system having an access control system, capable of searching a workflow with the use of similarity degrees without disclosing attachment document contents. <P>SOLUTION: When a retrieval condition inputted from a retrieval condition input means 7 is received, a workflow retrieving means 4 acquires an attachment document and retrieves the documents in a document database 2 by a similar document index means 3. The workflow corresponding to a retrieval result document is acquired from a workflow database 1 in response to the retrieval result. The access right of each task constitution is inspected by referring to an access right management table, so as to determine whether a displayable task element exists or not. When the displayable task element exists, the task is added to the list of the retrieval result, and then, the retrieval is completed.
