<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil equipped with a bobbin around which a coil can be wound while being arranged and ensuring optimal function even when being filled with resin. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary bobbin 30 is constituted of a bobbin body 60 which is made thicker on the periphery than in the axially central portion, and a plurality of section flanges FG4 projecting radially outward from the bobbin body to form a plurality of winding sections wherein a transition part TR is formed in the section flange FG4 by cutting in order to deliver the secondary winding from winding section Si on the upstream side to winding section Si+1 on the downstream side. The transition part TR is constituted of a wire delivery portion 65 swelling radially outward to form a top portion M, a portion 66 formed by cutting the section flange including the surface of the bobbin body from the top portion M toward the bobbin body 60, and a headland-like wire receiving portion 67 formed by the remaining portion of flange at the cut portion 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
