PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket restrained from hanging down by the weight of a placed object when connecting and placing the placed object on an depth face of a vertical member. SOLUTION: The bracket has a base, a placed plate and an insertion plate. The base has an abutting part on the depth face of the vertical member; a fitting protruding part fitted into a fitting hole formed in the aspect face of the vertical member; and a fixture mounting hole for inserting a fixture fixed to the aspect face of the vertical member. The placed plate is projected from the base in an opposite direction with respect to the aspect face of the vertical member, and the insertion plate is inserted in a vertical slit formed in the depth face face of the vertical member. The mounting hole formed in the depth face face of the vertical member is clamp-fixed by the insertion plate and a fixing bracket provided at a placed object. The lower end of the insertion plate abuts on the lower end of the vertical slit of the vertical member, and the lower end of the fitting protruding part abuts on the lower end of the fitting hole of the vertical member.
