PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing the shear deformation or the like generated between a belt layer and a belt reinforcing layer, suppressing occurrence of separation, and enhancing the belt durability or the like during the projection input. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, one or more belt layers (outer circumferential side belt layers 1, 2, inner circumferential side belt layers 3, 4) are provided on the outer circumferential side and the inner circumferential side of one or more belt reinforcing layers 6, 7, respectively. The width of the belt reinforcing layers 6, 7 is set to be≥0.6 time the tire sectional width, and its reinforcing element 10 is inclined by the angle of≤±10°with respect to the tire equatorial plane substantially in the circumferential direction. The code 12 of the belt layer is inclined at the angle of≥45°with respect to the tire equatorial plane. The largest width of the belt layer is set to be≥0.7 time the tire sectional width.
