PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact disk cartridge which can be loaded to a recording and/or playback apparatus of a standard disk cartridge. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge is provided with a lower shell 7 in which a first opening part 24 is formed, a rotation wheel 4 in which a second opening facing an optical disk to the outside is formed, and a pair of shutter plates 5a, 5b which are positioned between the lower shell 7 and the rotation wheel 4 and open the opening parts 22 and 24 when the first opening part 24 coincides with the second opening part interlocked with rotation of the rotation wheel 4, wherein at a front plane of the rotation wheel 4 being an insertion end for the recording and/or reproducing apparatus, an operated part 45 is formed comprising a first operated piece 45a and a second operated piece with which a shutter opening part of the recording and/or reproducing apparatus side is engaged, an engaging piece 45d bent inwardly is formed at the first operated piece 45a.
