PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing objective substances such as quinoxaline, a phenazine derivative, etc., from a benzofuroxan compound. SOLUTION: The method for synthesizing a quinoxaline derivative comprises making a benzofuroxan derivative having a skeleton represented by general formula (1) and aβ-diketone derivative having a skeleton represented by general formula (2) adsorbed on a solid acid, then heating the solid acid to cause a cyclodehydration reaction.
