INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR TESTING SYSTEM OF LOADS OF A SAMPLE USING A PACKER

The invention concerns an installation doe testing system of loads of a tubular sample (ET). It comprises at least one packer (P) housed in the sample (ET) at a zone to be tested (ZT), having a longitudinal extension greater than that of the zone to be tested (ZT) and comprising: i) first pressure means (C1) for locally varying the diameter of at least one first portion of the packer (P) so as to press same against an inner surface of the sample (ET) at the zone to be tested (ZT); ii) second pressure means (C2) for exerting a first selected internal pressure on part of the inner surface located at a second portion of the packer (P); and/or iii) third pressure means (C3) for co-operating with at least one closing member (B1, B2), secured to the sample spaced apart from one end of the packer (P) to define an action zone (ZA), so as to exert on the sample (ET) a second selected internal pressure at the action zone (ZA).
