<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of eliminating the need to PDL-convert a print image, preventing occurrence of accident such as print data abnormality due to a PDL mismatching, and realizing a high-speed and complete WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). <P>SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus 102 itself is installed with an application program 35 for opening a file to be printed, and configured to operate the high speed image transfer of the file to be printed to a printer engine 24 by a two-dimensional Video DMA transfer function developed by an ASIC 32 for print.
