PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate surface sheets after crushing used plastic bottles using a comparatively inexpensive machine. SOLUTION: A plurality of rotary blades 3 attached to a rotor 2 and a plurality of fixed blades 5 are installed inside of a crushing box 1 having a charge opening 10 for the used plastic bottles PB. When the respective rotary blades 3 rotate with rotation of the rotor 2, the respective rotary blades 3 pass through the spaces between the respective fixed blades 5 to crush the plastic bottle PB into crushed pieces F. The surface sheets S are crushed into long narrow bands. The blade edges of the respective rotary blades 3 face in the direction of rotation, and the blade edges of the respective fixed blades 5 face in the reverse direction of the above. A gap between the rotary blade 3 and the adjacent fixed blade 5 is 50-150 mm when the respective rotary blades 3 pass through the spaces between the respective fixed blades 5.
