PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium, wherein clogging of particles during injection is suppressed, and at the same time, mixing of air bubbles into charged particle dispersion during the injection and after sealing is suppressed, even when a liquid containing a large amount of particles such as the charged particle dispersion is to be injected into a liquid chamber. SOLUTION: In the display medium, an injection path is constructed in such a way that the shortest diameter d<SB>1min</SB>out of diameters d<SB>1</SB>of circles inscribed in its cross section is five times or more of an average particle diameter of the charged particles, and consequently the clogging of the charged particles in the injection path during injection of the charged particle dispersion is prevented. Also an exhaust path is constructed in such a way that the shortest diameter d<SB>2min</SB>out of diameters d<SB>2</SB>of circles inscribed in its cross section is more than one times and less than four times of the average particle diameter of the charged particles, and consequently the flowing of the charged particle dispersion into the liquid chamber is not inhibited, and further flowing out of the charged particles from the exhaust path is suppressed.
