<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display processor capable of displaying an initial screen speedily after being powered ON. <P>SOLUTION: When the processor is powered ON and a reset state is canceled, a transfer controller 105 immediately transfers image data to a screen data storage device 104 from a designated region of a nonvolatile data storage device 103 according to a voltage of an initial data transfer mode setting pin of an IC mounted with the transfer controller 105. An operation section controller 102 after confirming that the transfer is completed enables display through an image output controller 106 to display the initial screen on an image display device 107.
