<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine system capable of limiting a function of a copying machine in response to a maker of an externally fit controller, and capable of limiting in detail the function, using a vendor identifier of a MAC address. <P>SOLUTION: This copying machine system has a means for the copying machine to acquire the MAC address of the controller by a function limiting means to the externally fit controller for the copying machine, and a means for changing the function used in the the copying machine in response to the vendor identifier of the acquired MAC address, in the copying machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
