PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent defective ejection due to wetting or smudging of a face surface by suitably setting a condition of wiping the face surface where a plurality of ink ejection openings of ejecting parts are set in an inkjet recorder which carries out recording by using the plurality of ejecting parts that respectively eject different kinds of ink. SOLUTION: A wiping timing is not set simply on the basis of the number of ejections (dot count) carried out by the plurality of ejecting parts for carrying out recording.
