PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head cover firmly positioned at the center part of a cylinder head and in other positions without providing a special mechanism on the cylinder head side. SOLUTION: Flanges 4b-10b formed at openings 4-10 are fixed in positions in a direction along at least a cylinder head upper face P by gripping the outer peripheries of spark plug tubes Sc. Positioning based on the spark plug tubes Sc is thereby performed only by allowing the spark plug tubes Sc to pass through the openings 4-10 of the cylinder head cover. The cylinder head cover can thus be firmly and positively positioned at the center part or the like of the cylinder head H without providing the special mechanism on the cylinder head H side. Furthermore, sealing performance between the spark plug tubes Sc and the cylinder head cover by gaskets 12 can be sufficiently maintained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
