PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily inspect an anchor bolt for fixing a supporting base for H-shaped steel, even after a sound insulation wall for preventing the leakage of a sound is installed on an uneven installation surface such as an upper end surface of a wall balustrade. SOLUTION: This supporting structure for the sound insulation wall, which comprises the base (11) and the sound insulation frame (21), is used for the sound insulation wall (3) composed of the H-shaped steel (1) and a sound insulation plate (2). The base is installed on the installation surface (4) of the sound insulation wall by means of a fixing implement (5), and first and second supporting parts (12) and (13) are integrally provided on the top surface of the base. The H-shaped steel (1) is integrally erected on the base by inserting a web (1a) through a clearance (14) of the first supporting part, and housing a flange (1b) between a pair of screens (13a) of the second supporting part. The sound insulation frame is installed on the installation surface in such a manner that an insertion part (25), which protrudes from an end of a main body (24), is inserted between a pair of insulation plates (12a) of the first supporting part. An end of the sound insulation plate is fitted into a groove (1c) of the H-shaped steel, and a bottom plate part (2a) thereof is brought into close contact with a top plate (22) of the sound insulation frame.
