<p>A wave-making device capable of generating multi-directional waves and parallel waves in any direction by simple structure and control. The wave-making device (1) having at least one wave-making machine (1) comprises a float (2), a lifting mechanism (3) vertically moving the float (2), a horizontally moving mechanism (4) horizontally moving the float (2), and drive devices (5) and (6) driving the lifting mechanism (3) and the horizontally moving mechanism (4). The float (2) comprises cross sectional areas smaller toward the lower side of the float and larger toward the upper side of the float and symmetrical horizontal sections coaxially arranged as viewed from the vertical upper side. The horizontal sections are formed in such shapes that a normal line to a part of the outer periphery of the float can be concentrated to the prescribed position of a water tank at horizontal multiple positions to which the float (2) is moved by the horizontally moving mechanism (4).</p> |
