<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device equipped with a small and light-weight inverter system that accomplishes significant improvement of the power factor of power supply and reduction of harmonic distortions in power supply, by reducing the capacitance of a capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter driving device is constructed of a primary supply voltage estimating means 3; a converter circuit 1; an inverter drive circuit 2 that controls the motor load current, based on primary power phase information and motor drive current information; and a control means that generates drive waveform. The operation is so performed that Expressions (1) and (2) hold, where f1 is the commutation frequency of motor operating current (inverter operating frequency × number of motor poles × number of motor phases), and f2 is the power supply frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
