PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic piezoelectric vibrator in which variations in sensitivity and in directivity are small, and piezoelectric vibrators including a plurality of radiation surfaces are combined to form an array thereof with a simple structure adjustable in an electrode area not depending on a depth and width of a groove. SOLUTION: In at least one side of a piezoelectric element, an area corresponding to that deducted due to the width and depth of the groove is calculated on in advance. After a shape of an electrode 2 that realizes design sensitivity and design directivity is first formed in the piezoelectric vibrator 1, the piezoelectric vibrator is produced that includes a plurality of the radiation surfaces 5 divided into a plurality of regions. As a result, since the area of the electrode 2 can be regulated independently of the width and depth of the groove, the acoustic piezoelectric vibrator can be provided that is produced by combining the piezoelectric vibrators including the plurality of the radiation surfaces having a small variation in directivity and a simple structure to form the array thereof.
