<p>A member for insect pest control installed for use in an object forming a moving route when insect pest advances in devices to protect the devices against the insect pest, generally formed of a resin, having a diameter in a direction at right angle to the object when installed on the object, and formed in such a shape that becomes an obstacle against the insect pest moving along the object. The member comprises a storage part storing the object and an opening for storing the object in the storage part. When the object is stored in the storage part through the opening, the member is elastically deformed so as to close the opening and the closed shape of the opening can be maintained.</p>
