PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety shock absorbing apparatus of an operator's seat, in which a step board is not influenced by a minor collision or collision with another car while traveling and thereby to prevent an accident resulting in damage or an accident resulting in injury or death. SOLUTION: In the shock absorbing apparatus of an operator's seat of a fixed platform truck, the operator's seat 1 extends over frames 3 disposed on both sides of a vehicle body to be supported by the frames. A step portion width W in the floor base 2 of the operator's seat 1 is parted and cut. A step board 5 has a length X having swing spaces S1, S2 formed at the front and rear sides of the parted and cut portion, and a breadth Y disposed on the same face as the both side faces 2a of the floor base 2 or disposed to be slightly depressed compared with the both side faces 2a, and has a bending portions 5a formed on both ends of the step board 5 to extend vertically and in a downward direction. The step board 5 is swingably supported by the frames 3 disposed on both sides of the body through an elastic body 6. |
