The present invention refers to a pesticide composition for forming a tubular film intended to protect bananas against plagues and diseases. The inventive bag is characterised in that it comprises 90% of a carrier thermoplastic polymer pertaining to the polypropylene or vinyl polychloride group, and 10% of formulated chlorpyrifos. A method for manufacturing said plastic tubular film for protecting banana bunches against plagues and pathogen diseases is also described, the method including the following steps: a) adding the carrier thermoplastic polymer in granules and the chlorpyrifos into a mixer, the chlorpyrifos particles being adhered to the polymer granules at a temperature of from about 35 degree C to about 40 degree C due to the mixer movement; pouring the pesticide mixture into a hopper of a conventional machine for manufacturing bags so that it is led towards an injection pipe previously prepared at a predetermined temperature and time. The liquid mixture is led to a discharging reservoir, and subsequently to a head, depending on the polymer calliper. A transparent bubble being generated at the head upon receive a compress air injection of from about 800 pounds to about 1000 pounds of pressure per square inch by means of a hose set, said transparent bubble acting as a bag or cover may present the colour of the dyed mixture. A plastic film is formed when the bubble is passed throughout a cold air condensation device. The invention finally includes a tubular plastic prophylactic cover (bag) for protecting banana bunches against plagues and pathogen diseases, as well as a pesticide composition including a thermoplastic polymer (90%) pertaining to the polypropylene or vinyl polychloride group, and chlorpyrifos ethyl (10%), the cover also presenting perforations having a diameter of from about 5/16 cm to about 1/2 cm, arranged at intervals of 5 cm therebetween so as to provide ventilation to banana bunches.
