PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor capable of facilitating using a large-sized screw section. SOLUTION: In this stepping motor, a slit 50 which is larger than a rotating shaft 3 and smaller than the diameter of the screw section 41 is provided at a housing attachment portion 37c of a frame 37. Besides, the thickness of the housing attachment portion 37c of the frame 37 is smaller than a gap between a rear edge of the screw section 41 and the front edge of a housing 35. With this constitution of this frame 37, a part of the rotating shaft 3 exposed from a gap between the rear edge of the screw section 41 and the front edge of the housing 35 can be easily inserted into the slit 50 of the housing attachment portion 37c, and can facilitate assembly work of the frame 37 regardless of the size of the diameter of the screw section 41.
