<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable engine generator that can protect an engine and a generator from over-rotation and an overvoltage without causing the enlargement of the engine generator by combining an engine over-rotation protection relay and a circuit that performs an operation similar to that of a generator overvoltage protection relay, to an automatic voltage adjuster installed on the portable engine generator. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic voltage adjuster of the portable engine generator includes: an over-rotation setting means that sets the upper limit a voltage and the upper limit of a rotation number; a voltage comparator 16 that compares a voltage signal S11 outputted from a voltage detector 11 of the automatic voltage adjuster and a voltage upper limit signal S12, and outputs a stop signal of the generator when the voltage exceeds the voltage upper limit; and a rotation number comparator 17 that compares a rotation number signal S14 output from a frequency detector 12 of the automatic voltage adjuster and a rotation number upper limit signal S15, and outputs a stop signal of the generator when the rotation number exceeds a rotation number upper limit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
